Urban Farming Series: Field Design & Layout for Production

Learn field design and layout for production. This class will start with a basis Vegetable Growing in MN 101, looking at the different properties of crops that determine where they best fit in a production landscape. Then we will dive into crop rotations, companion plantings and successions, focusing on how to plan your growing area to best accommodate your goals. Courtney will also share the challenges and successes learned from five seasons growing on the student organic farm.
